- If a brother sins against you, rebuke him and forgive him if he repents. (Luke 17:3)
- As we pray we should forgive others so God will forgive us. (Mark 11:25)
- With Christ as our example, we should forgive others as he forgave us. (Col. 3:13)
- Vengeance belongs to the Lord. (Hebrews 10:30).
- Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who use you and persecute you. (Matthew 5:44)
- Don't be overcome by evil, rather overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21)
- Don't render evil for evil or railing for railing, on the contrary render blessings, and you will inherit blessings. (1 Peter 3:9-10)
- Remove bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, evil speaking, and malice from your life. Instead be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving, as God is to you. (Ephesians 4:31-32)
